What will my event cost?I strive to provide my clients with an excellent value and consistently offer some of the most competitive rates in the area. Please fill out the quote form to receive pricing for your event, as rates vary based on event details. After submitting a quote request, you can generally expect a response the same day.

What genres do you specialize in?I play all major genres, including Pop, Hip-Hop, Latin, Oldies, Electronic, Soul, Disco, Funk, Rock, Alternative, Country, Jazz and more. Requests from outside of these genres are welcome and can be coordinated with the client in advance.

Do you accept song requests?Yes! Provided that the client is ok with it, I am more than happy to accept song requests from guests. Clients are also encouraged to share a list of requests with me ahead of time if they would like. (Due to some limitations in in-the-moment access to certain songs and genres, any must-plays should be shared in advance when possible)

Can you avoid explicit language for my event?Yes, sticking to clean edits is a common request and I'm more than happy to accommodate this. I always check in about this preference during the consultation, especially when an event may have children present or take place in a professional setting.

How does music selection work - do we provide a playlist or do you pick the songs?You're welcome to share as much or as little as you'd like in terms of your music preferences - from just a general overview of the genres/vibe you have in mind, to a playlist with some examples/requests, to an extensive playlist that covers most of the songs you'd like played. Once I get a sense for what you have in mind, I will curate a selection of music to set the right tone for your event.

How much space do you need for your setup?The exact footprint depends somewhat on the equipment needed for your specific event, but for a typical event, the footprint is roughly 8'x10'. Placement of components can be changed to accommodate different room setups as needed, and more compact setups may be possible for small events with limited space availability.

Do you have liability insurance?Yes, I carry insurance and I am happy to provide a COI as requested by a client or venue.

How does the booking process work?Once we've confirmed that your date is available and you've decided that you'd like to move forward with the booking, you'll send a deposit to secure the date. A contract will also be provided, which you can read over and sign. At some point between confirming your booking and the event itself, we'll set up a call to go over all the details and ensure that everything is ready to go.

What is your cancellation policy?In order to finalize their booking, a client will provide a non-refundable deposit, which will not be returned if the client cancels their booking. In some instances, an additional cancellation fee may apply for bookings cancelled on short notice - this varies depending on how far in advance an event is booked and will be detailed in the client's contract. Once a booking is confirmed, I am committed to following through and making the event a success. It is my policy to never cancel a confirmed booking, especially on short notice. That said, if circumstances beyond my control make it impossible for me to meet my commitment, all money paid by the client, including their non-refundable deposit, will be returned, and I will take steps to help find a suitable replacement for the client's event.

Can we provide a do-not-play list?Certainly. This is always a question I ask when speaking to clients about their event. Any genres, artists or songs that you'd prefer to avoid can easily be omitted.

What if my event goes longer than planned?An extended hours quote will be included in your contract, specifying the rate for additional time if your event goes longer than expected. Extended hours are subject to availability, but in most cases, there should be no issue adding additional time if needed.

Do you need access to power outlets?Yes, at this time I do not offer generators or mobile power solutions as part of my equipment package, so I do require power to be provided.
